Dar al-Zahra currently relies solely on donations to keep our programs running. While we are blessed with a generous community, our vision is to become a self-sustaining organisation through the establishment of a waqf. This project will enable us to generate continuous income and invest in initiatives that benefit the community for generations to come.
Our 10-year waqf plan aims to build sustainable income to support our ongoing projects, reduce dependence on regular donations, and invest in opportunities that produce sadaqah jariyah - continuous charity - for all involved.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have already made four investments in our first five years. With your help, we can continue to grow this waqf and build a legacy of support for women’s education.
The beauty of this project is that it will not only allow us to become better together but your investment into the project will act as an ongoing sadaqa jariya for you for as long as there are women benefiting from the knowledge taught.
Give Once. Teach Forever.
This Ramadan, as you search for deeds that outlive you, we invite you to build something that continues to awaken hearts.
Give to the Dar al-Zahra Waqf.
Give knowledge.
Give healing.
Give legacy.
Donate today and allow us to continue our work in education and empowering women across the globe

We are pleased to share the link for our second Qur’ān Khatam, taking place on Sunday 15th March.
Students are kindly encouraged to allocate themselves a juzʾ and take part in this collective completion of the Qur’ān:
https://www.khatmaty.com/#K21D9526
This khatam is dedicated to the people of Palestine who have returned to Allah, to the loved ones of those connected to the students of Dar al-Zahra, and to members of the Ummah who have no one to pray for them.
We ask Allah to make this Ramadan a truly unique and blessed month for us and for the entire Ummah - a month filled with barakah, openings, and accepted duʿās.
* Please note that if you have already registered for our Awakening the Hearts Programme, you do not need to re-register.

Alhamdulillah, we’re truly excited to offer free 1-1 daily Qur'ān classes again this year!
Who can apply?
Once you sign up, a teacher will be assigned to you, and classes will be scheduled based on their availability.
Please note: Registration does not guarantee a place. Your allocated teacher will contact you via email or text—so check your inbox and junk mail!
How do I qualify?
Priority is given to beginners & intermediate students. If you’re assessed as a higher level, we kindly ask for your understanding that your spot may be offered to someone else in greater need.
We truly appreciate your support and duas as we work to secure more volunteer teachers to accommodate everyone in the future!
